Election Diary 2010: The Book

August 31, 2010

One upside to the uncertainty over who gets to form Government, is it’s given me time to get my Election Diary compiled and published. As of today it’s now available for purchase. Aside from the numerous demands for me to publish a book, I’m selling this piece of literature to raise money for charity.

Specifically, all profits go the the Smith Family Learning for Life Program. It’s my way of giving back the community, and as I write in the book, the better Australian kids are educated, the more likely I’ll be able to convince them to volunteer for me.

You have two options with the book:

1. Hardcover:

This is for the book-lover with a taste for political memoirs. This is a 199-page, full-quality hardcover with glossy dust jacket. It has the full 2010 Election Diary, a collection of other writings and my full Twitter feed from when I launched it until the end of the election campaign. Buy it right now here.

I make US$2.34 profit per sale, all of which goes to charity as per above.

2. Digital Download:

This is the quick and cheap way to get a great book. You get a PDF of everything described above for the hardcover. The Smith Family will get $6.40 per download. Not too shabby. Buy it right now here.

3. iPad / iPhone geeks and Kindle losers

Buy it via iBooks for $4.99 or buy for the same price for your Kindle. Unlike the above options it doesn’t contain the bonus full twitter feed from 2009-2010 but has everything else. Like the others all profits to charity.

Don’t let the virtual door hit your virtual arse on the way out to buying this one.
